CABLE THEFT

Walking around with my R labs class in Plunkett avenue and i noticed that the telephone cable was cut on both sides. It made me think, what if there is an emergency? how do we as the community get hold of the police, fire brigade or ambulance etc
dangerous cables hanging near a school

Is cable theft a necessity because of unemployment or is it a new way to get cash for drugs. Is it really necessary to put your life on the line for a few hundred rands when at the end of the day u know its not worth it.

There are still a high number of reports of Telkcom and power cables all over the world, with cables being stolen for scrap especially copper and that leads to metal prices increasing.

Us as the community should report cable theft and put a stop to all this, to make our country a better and more safer place for the children, leaders for tomorrow and at the same time help ourselves.
